Black History Month just isn’t a month to tell HIStory or HERstory,
But OUR story for a lifetime.
It’s a time to hear great stories from those who adventured throughout our world.
A time to learn more about one's, Richness of their Heritage.
A time for hope while showing love.
A time to cook soul food while preparing to eat.
A time to laugh and sing Spiritual songs.
A time to take courage as the spirit of bondage is removed.
A time to reflect on those whom we lost.
A time to teach the next generation that comes along.
A time to connect.
A time to rebuild in our lives and communities.
It’s definitely, A time to “Be Happy” with who we are as individuals.
There is A time for everything positive and this is the BLACK that I represent.
